Established sub-committees covering Environment, Heritage, Housing, and Business; a fifth Youth Working Group has since been added to work across every theme. Reviewed National Planning Policy Framework consultation timelines and implications for the work programme.
30 June 2026	Completed	Reviewed updates to the character and design policy work. Considered the local call-for-sites map and the next evidence checks required.
Late summer 2026	Upcoming	Review Dorset Council housing register metrics for the plan area. Consider local site options against emerging assessment criteria.

Five working groups gather evidence and develop recommendations, with the Youth Working Group helping every theme align with young people's needs.
